Under the dial, Caliber 3235 runs the operation, Rolex’s current benchmark movement, Superlative Chronometer certified to +/-2 seconds per day, fitted with the Chronergy escapement for improved energy efficiency, a paramagnetic Parachrom hairspring, and a 70-hour power reserve that puts most competitors to shame. The bidirectional rotating bezel carries a matte black Cerachrom ceramic insert with polished raised numerals which are scratch-resistant, UV-stable, and sharp at any angle. The full titanium Oyster bracelet matches the case finish exactly, with patented ceramic inserts inside the links for flexibility and longevity, an Oysterlock safety clasp, and Rolex’s Easylink 5mm on-the-fly adjustment system.
