Hermès Micro Picotin 14, Vert Vertigo Lizard, gold hardware, full set

Now live: a Hermès Micro Picotin 14 in Vert Vertigo lizard with gold hardware, full set with box and papers. The Picotin began as a simple bucket tote inspired by equestrian feed baskets. In micro size and an electric green exotic skin, it becomes a true collector’s object, and exotic Picotins in this color rarely come to market.

Why It Matters

The Picotin takes its name and shape from the feed bucket used in Hermès’s original equestrian world. It is the house at its most playful: an open, structured tote closed with a strap, a clochette and a small lock. In Togo or Clemence it is an everyday favorite.

Exotic skins change its status entirely. Hermès uses lizard sparingly and only on select models because of its delicacy and the skill required to work it. The fine, regular scale pattern gives the surface a texture calfskin cannot match, and at micro scale every panel has to be perfect.

Vert Vertigo is one of the most vivid greens in the Hermès palette, almost electric in daylight, and gold hardware gives it a warm, finished frame.

This Example

Excellent condition, with the lizard free of significant marks and the color fully saturated, notable given how sensitive exotics are to handling. Offered as a full set with box and original papers.
